Firefox Downloads Set Guinness World Record – Official Announcement

Itz already a known news that Firefox sets guiness record on the download day on June 17. But it is now officially announced by guiness team after ananlyzing the server download logs. They have told that by the total of 8,002,530 unique downloads on download day make it to enter in Guinness Book of World Records. We have to note that mozilla itself expected only 5 million downloads!

Being one of the them on the above number I got the download certification from Mozilla and did you get?

Google co-founder Sergey Brin plans to fly in space

Sergey Brin, the co-founder of Google booked a seat on future space flight of 2011 by paying $5 million to the Space Adventures, the space tourism company of Russia. $5 million is just down payment, the actual amount to be payed for this trip to International Space Station is likely to be more than $35 million.

Brin, 34 year old, made history in his 20s when they set up the Google search engine and they are now billionaires. Brin was born in Moscow to two mathematicians who emigrated when he was 6 years old to the United States. “I am a big believer in the exploration and commercial development of the space frontier and am looking forward to the possibility of going into space,” Brin said in a statement. There are concerns that if anything happens to Brin, that Google would be in trouble. But not every human have chance to experience the Zero gravity, so let him go!!!

An Innovative Ad Campaign!

The picture shows an innovative ad campaign by, TIMES OF INDIA. During its launch of Chennai Edition. An Kolam(Rangoli) in wording’s say ‘VANAKKAM CHENNAI(Hello Chennai), TIMES OF INDIA’. It obviously attracts people surprisingly, when coming out of their house in early morning.
Great Idea by TOI!
Saw these kind of kolam’s in front of many houses around areas like Anna Nagar, nungambakkam, adyar and beasant nagar.
